Position: Mechanical Source Inspector

Location: Riverside, Missouri

Duration: On-going contract

Frequency: 1/hr per month - 1099

We currently have a need for an experienced mechanical source inspector to support in Kansas City, MO and St. Louis, MO for an on-going contract on-demand (avergae once a month). Long distance travel may be required.

Job Description:

• Perform mechanical inspection using precision measuring devices/instruments at supplier’s facility to verify compliance to drawings, standards/specifications and other PO requirement.
• Verify material certifications against PO requirements, part marking where required and visually inspect for obvious defects/ damage.

Skills Requirement:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on precision mechanical inspection experience is required
• Strong understanding of, and experience with, ANSI Y 14.5 GD&T
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and basic computer skills are a must
• Experience working with tight tolerances
• Hands-on mechanical inspection experience
• Must have experience working with Mil-standards
• Previous source inspection experience

Requirement: 

• Will be working as an independent contractor (1099).
• Must have LLC/DBA or able to obtain an LLC/DBA
